Enchanted Escape Room
Whether you’ve never tried an escape room or you’re a seasoned veteran, you’re going to love Enchanted Escape Room. These live adventure games challenge you to work as a team and use your wits to find clues, solve puzzles, and figure out how to “escape” from the room before your 60-minutes are up.
At the Northridge location, they’re currently offering five different themed rooms including Outdoor Murder Mystery, Enchanted Forest, Spellbound, Genie Ransom, and Task Force Agency. These games are appropriate for adults and children 10 and older (with an adult). All rooms are now private, making this a perfect way to enjoy a fun, socially-distanced adventure with your family.
Break Room LA
Need to blow off some steam? You’ll love Break Room, LA. This innovative activity located in Van Nuys features ax throwing, paint splashing, a “rage room,” and a “wreck a vehicle” experience! You can even play your own music while you smash and break things to your heart’s content.
Come by yourself or gather a team of family and friends. There’s space for six people in each of their rooms. This is appropriate for kids 10 and older, although anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Lum Ka Naad
You don’t have to drive to East Hollywood to enjoy incredible Thai food. Next time you’re feeling hungry, head over to Lum Ka Naad, where you’ll find the best Thai food in the Northridge area. The restaurant’s name means “delicious food,” and local residents agree!
They offer a huge menu that features both northern and southern Thai cuisine. There are so many unique and authentic options here that you can expect a true culinary adventure every time you visit. They’re currently open for dine-in, takeout, and delivery — so you can enjoy an incredible meal in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable.
Wildlife Learning Center
Have a group of kids you want to get out of the house? Consider planning a trip to the Wildlife Learning Center. It’s just a short drive away from Northridge, making this a great way to enjoy a sunny afternoon.
While they’re currently closed for general admission, they’re booking private, interactive tours every day. This is your opportunity to enjoy a guided tour and get up-close-and-personal with the animals!
Agua Chiles Sushi Bar
Agua Chiles Sushi Bar is one of the area’s best sushi spots. They specialize in “Mexican sushi”-style rolls and sashimi. Their menu also features many items that are a fusion of fresh Japanese cuisine with a Latin zest. Once you pay them a visit, you’ll want to return again and again!
