BMW enthusiasts rejoice! The long-awaited Ultimate Driving Experience (UDE) EVOLUTION is coming to California, and you definitely won’t want to miss it. This one-of-a-kind event provides exciting and immersive experiences that will give you the opportunity to test drive BMW’s latest fully electric models, the high-performance M models, and other core vehicles from the brand’s portfolio.
UDE has been around for many years and has earned a reputation for being very well coordinated. The professional driving instructors are excellent and will truly elevate your driving prowess. Ready to really get excited? All of the events and activities are free! All you need to do is sign up ahead of time, then register at the gate when you arrive. Here’s a look at some of the exciting activities you’ll be able to enjoy.
iX Experience
The iX Experience gives you a chance to take a deep dive into the new features of the BMW iX. Hop in the driver’s seat and race to the finish line, then try out the vehicle’s cutting-edge tech features like self-parking, the incredible panoramic sky roof, and the debut of the latest interface system, the BMW iDrive 8.
With the ability to go from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds the 516 horsepower iX will surely blow your mind. Combine this with the fact that it’s a fully electric vehicle with an EPA estimated 324 miles of electric range, you can’t help but be impressed.
Autocross
Hone your driving skills and enjoy unbelievable exhilaration as you experience the handling, power, acceleration, and performance of the first-ever all-electric BMW i4. During this thrilling 90-minute driving activity, you’ll get up-close and personal with BMW’s newest class-defining ride.
With the guidance of a professional BMW driving instructor, you’ll have the chance to get behind the wheel and take the vehicle through the ultimate test as you maneuver it through the sharp turns and bends of an autocross course.
Street Drives
Want to experience the latest and greatest BMW models first-hand? Buckle up for the legendary Street Drives, which will give you hands-on experience with BMW’s newest models. During this self-guided experience, you’ll have the opportunity to get out on the local roads and test out BMW’s all-electric rides and first-ever thrillers.

The Ultimate Driving Experience EVOLUTION will be held at Santa Anita Park in LA (285 W. Huntington Dr. Arcadia, CA) on September 15th through 18th and at Angel Stadium of Anaheim (2000 E. Gene Autrey Way Anaheim, CA) on September 22nd through the 25th.

Important Things You Need to Know
You can sign up for one autocross drive per city. The Street Drives and iX experience run continuously throughout each day and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All drivers must have a valid license. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the iX Experience and Autocross, and at least 25 to participate in Street Drives. Licenses will be checked on-site at the event, so don’t forget to bing yours with you.
Each driver must register individually, and you may also bring non-driving guests. They’ll be required to register onsite when they arrive. Of course, COVID precautions will be in place to keep everyone safe, so plan to bring a mask and follow all posted requirements.
