Car Masters: Rust to Riches
This series features the crew from Gotham Garage, an eclectic bunch who are known for their fabrication skills and interesting builds.
The premise is fairly simple: procure a car, fix it up and customize it, then unveil the new version. Although it’s certainly not groundbreaking, the results are definitely impressive!
The first season premiered in 2018 and included 8 episodes. After a two-year hiatus, it returned on March 27th, 2020 with a second season. Both full seasons are currently available, so prepare to enjoy an epic binge-session.
Fastest Car
Feed your need for speed with the Netflix series Fastest Car. Each episode features three different “sleeper cars” that have been lovingly souped-up by true gearheads. The fun comes when they compete for street-cred by going up against the most well-known supercars driving by pros. For example, one episode puts a Porsche GT3 up against a modified 2011 Pontiac minivan. Want to know what happens? You’ll have to tune in!

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
If you’re looking for a good laugh, you’ll definitely want to check out Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. This series, created and executive produced by Jerry Seinfeld is a unique twist on the typical talk show. Each episode features Jerry picking up a special guest in a special car and having hilarious conversations while heading to a coffee shop or diner.
The series began way back in 2012 and there are currently a whopping 11 seasons available on Netflix right now. Some of the vehicles you’ll see include a 1964 Studebaker Avanti, 1970 Ford Mustang, and 1978 AMC Gremlin. You’ll also enjoy special guests like Rob Reiner, Mel Brooks, Louis C.K., and even former President Barack Obama.
Wheelman
This movie, released in 2017, is a must-watch for car enthusiasts. It’s an independent action-thriller starring Frank Grillo and a modified E46 BMW. The majority of the action is shot from the inside of the car, and it’s essentially one giant movie-length chase.
It begins when a getaway driver is double-crossed during a robbery. His family is threatened and he must figure out the source of his betrayal before time runs out! Wheelman will provide you with an hour and 22 minutes of suspense, and is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat right until the very end!
Hyperdrive
The series Hyperdrive, executive produced by Charlize Theron has been described as a combination of “The Fast and the Furious” and “American Ninja Warrior.” You’ll love watching elite street racers drive supercharged custom cars through an enormous automotive obstacle course.
The crazy stunts they’ll attempt as they try to defeat the course will leave you holding your breath and cheering them on out loud. As a bonus, the series and provides an intimate look into each competitor’s backstory, which is enough to attract the attention of everyone in your household. Win-win!
